Job Summary:
Bayaan Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will assist the lead teacher in providing support to students, helping them reach their academic potential, and ensuring a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Classroom Activities: Assist the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons, activities, and instructional materials that meet students' educational needs.
- Individual Student Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help with their academic work.
- Classroom Management: Help manage classroom behavior by establishing a positive learning environment, maintaining order, and minimizing distractions.
- Grading and Feedback: Assist with grading assignments, tests, and quizzes, and provide feedback to students under the supervision of the teacher.
- Resource Preparation: Prepare learning materials, visual aids, and other educational resources to enhance lesson effectiveness.
- Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks such as recording attendance, updating student records, and maintaining organized files.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the lead teacher, students, and parents, relaying important information when necessary.
- Encouragement and Motivation: Encourage students to participate actively in their learning and support their academic and social development.
- Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's degree or higher in Education or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience as a Teacher Assistant or working with children in an educational setting is an advantage.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the teaching staff
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
