Special Education Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated *Online Special Education Teacher* to support students with diverse learning needs in a fully online learning environment.

*Minimum Requirements*

* Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field

* Special Education teaching certification or appropriate professional qualification

* *Minimum 3 years of teaching experience*, with demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning needs

* *Proven experience teaching online/virtually*

* Strong understanding of individualized instruction, accommodations, modifications, and differentiated learning

* Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans and appropriate interventions

* Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership

* Comfortable using online teaching platforms and educational technology

* Ability to work independently, manage student records, and maintain consistent communication with families and the school team

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field

* Experience working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, or other exceptionalities

* Experience with IEP development and implementation

* Experience using online assessment and progress-monitoring tools

* Experience working in a fully online or virtual school

*Key Responsibilities*

* Provide individualized online instruction and support based on students’ learning needs

* Develop and implement appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions

* Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

* Communicate regularly with parents and school administrators

* Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive appropriate support and access to the curriculum

* Participate in meetings, professional development, and student support planning

* Create a positive, engaging, and supportive virtual learning environment
