Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Cycle Supervision:
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear vision for the school’s curriculum, aligned with Common Core, Islamic integration, and project-based learning that is integrated across the curricula.
  3. Oversee the entire curriculum lifecycle, including development, implementation, review, and revision, ensuring alignment with standards and goals
  4. Develop and facilitate a process for curriculum updating and review. 
  5. Content Organization and Development:
  6. Work closely with the Curriculum and Academic Teams to manage all aspects of our online course curriculum
  7. Organize current learning materials, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  8. Collaborate with curriculum developers and subject matter experts to develop new material, ensuring alignment with Standards, project-based learning and Islamic values.
  9. Structure the curriculum into self-paced and live class-setting lessons, catering to diverse learning styles and needs.
  10. Define clear learning objectives and desired outcomes for each lesson
  11. Implementation and Maintenance:
  12. Utilize our curriculum platform to categorize and arrange all learning materials efficiently.
  13. Partner with the Curriculum Team to ensure smooth implementation and accessibility of curriculum resources.
  14. Monitor student engagement and learning outcomes, making adjustments and updates as needed.
  15. Stay up-to-date on educational technology trends and best practices, incorporating them into curriculum development.
  16. Management of Curriculum Resources:
  17. Organize distribution and storage of resources.
  18. Review and cycle resources in or out of storage/use.
  19. Develop and implement follow-up plans for curriculum revisions and instructional materials adoptions.
  20. Communication and Collaboration:
  21. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding curriculum updates, and improvement efforts, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  22. Provide informative feedback and suggestions for continuous curriculum improvement.
  23. Liase with curriculum team members, teachers, and admin.
  24. Professional Development:
  25. Work with administration to identify professional development goals and priorities.
  26. Design and deliver relevant training sessions for teachers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  3. Proven success in leading and collaborating with teams.
  4. Strong understanding of Common Core Standards, project-based learning, and Islamic values.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  6. Proficiency in educational technology tools and platforms
