Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Cycle Supervision:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear vision for the school’s curriculum, aligned with Common Core, Islamic integration, and project-based learning that is integrated across the curricula.
- Oversee the entire curriculum lifecycle, including development, implementation, review, and revision, ensuring alignment with standards and goals
- Develop and facilitate a process for curriculum updating and review.
- Content Organization and Development:
- Work closely with the Curriculum and Academic Teams to manage all aspects of our online course curriculum
- Organize current learning materials, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers and subject matter experts to develop new material, ensuring alignment with Standards, project-based learning and Islamic values.
- Structure the curriculum into self-paced and live class-setting lessons, catering to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Define clear learning objectives and desired outcomes for each lesson
- Implementation and Maintenance:
- Utilize our curriculum platform to categorize and arrange all learning materials efficiently.
- Partner with the Curriculum Team to ensure smooth implementation and accessibility of curriculum resources.
- Monitor student engagement and learning outcomes, making adjustments and updates as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on educational technology trends and best practices, incorporating them into curriculum development.
- Management of Curriculum Resources:
- Organize distribution and storage of resources.
- Review and cycle resources in or out of storage/use.
- Develop and implement follow-up plans for curriculum revisions and instructional materials adoptions.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding curriculum updates, and improvement efforts, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Provide informative feedback and suggestions for continuous curriculum improvement.
- Liase with curriculum team members, teachers, and admin.
- Professional Development:
- Work with administration to identify professional development goals and priorities.
- Design and deliver relevant training sessions for teachers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Proven success in leading and collaborating with teams.
- Strong understanding of Common Core Standards, project-based learning, and Islamic values.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and platforms
