The Admissions Support position is a robust position with a range of duties, activities and opportunities. Though no job description can encapsulate the range of responsibilities, therefore the key responsibilities set out below do not form an exhaustive list, but cover the general areas for a Admissions Support.
Purpose of Role:
To ensure the smooth operation of Bayaan Academy's administrative functions.
Directly responsible to:
1. Principal
2. Ultimately responsible to Director
General Responsibilities
Admissions Support should:
-Office Management: Greeting and assisting students and parents; answering phone calls; and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
-Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records, attendance logs, and other essential documentation.
-Scheduling: Coordinating and managing schedules for teachers, staff, and school events, including parent-teacher conferences and extracurricular activities.
-Communication: Disseminating important information to students, parents, and staff through newsletters, emails, and other communication channels.
-Administrative Support: Assisting the principal and other school administrators with clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and preparing reports.
-Supply Management: Managing inventory and ordering office and classroom supplies as needed.
-Data Entry: Entering and updating data in school management software and databases.
-Financial Duties: Handling basic financial tasks such as processing invoices, and assisting with budget tracking.
-Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of school events, and other special programs.
-Student Support: Providing assistance to students with various needs.
These responsibilities ensure that the school operates efficiently and that the needs of students, parents, and staff are met.
